Xpress is a quick tidy-up: nails shaped, cuticles neatened and colour applied. Deluxe adds more pampering and time on dry skin. Medi gives the most attention to hard skin on heels and soles. All three can be finished with paint or gel.

Gel on toes usually looks great for 3–4 weeks, because toenails grow more slowly than fingernails.

A rubber base adds a flexible, strengthening layer under your colour — helpful for thin or uneven toenails. It's available with an Xpress (R300) or Deluxe (R450) pedicure.

Wear trousers you can roll up easily, or a skirt or shorts, and bring open shoes if you're having regular paint so it can dry.
